Polish WiFi is an innovative and cheap way to provide Internet connection which enables un unlimited 4G or 4G+ Wi-Fi- internet access in Poland territory. It works like any other Wi-Fi hotspot - but it's personal and fits in your pocket.
The modem can be connected to all electronic devices equipped with WiFi, like:
  • PC (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc)
  • Tablets (iPad, Samsung, Kindle, etc)
  • Smartphones (iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc)
  • and wifi handheld game consoles (Sony PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nvidia Shield, Razer Edge, etc).
and many others devices.
A portable WiFi hotspot allows you to have access to the Internet on the move, wherever you are. You can use it as a normal home connection for what follows:
  • Use maps to find your way (Google Maps, TripAdvisor)
  • Find tourist information on places, monuments, works of art, museums
  • Search and book hotels, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, public transport
  • Inform you about opening hours
  • Send and receive emails with attachments
  • Update your status on your favourite social networks
  • Make and receive VOIP calls (Skype, Viber, etc)
  • Make conference calls, update documents in the cloud, transfer large files with File Sharing services
  • Etc
You can connect up to 5 devices at the same time. Please note that connection speed is shared between each device and can be reduced when multiple devices are in data process.
The pocket WiFi does not enable regular voice calls via cellular networks, however it does allow VoIP calls such as Skype, Viber, WhatsApp. GoogleVoice etc. over data networks.

Absolutely not: you push power button on the Polish WiFi router and it will make a WiFi signal. Find it on your device, enter the password (only at the first time) and you will be connected to the world. :)

For device 4G/LTE:
A fully charged battery lasts around 6 hours while in use. We recommend you to charge it every night. The device can be charged via the USB adapter or a wall adapter (both cables included).

For device 4G+/LTE+:
A fully charged battery lasts around 10 hours while in use. We recommend you to charge it every night. The device can be charged via the USB adapter or a wall adapter (both cables included).

If you needed, you can add an external battery to your booking card. Our external battery will add another 6 hours to the battery life.

Network coverage, speed and data usage

Polish WiFi partners are the biggest operators in Poland to ensure that you always have the best and fastest connections available to you. While there will always be great coverage in "populated" areas, (i.e. cities and towns), if you are traveling to exceptionally rural or uninhabited areas (such as the mountain Tartry), we recommend you get in touch with us in advance so we can verify the coverage.

For 4G/LTE devices, we offer the coverage of one of the largest operator in Poland. For a 4G + / LTE + device, you will have access to all the largest operators in Poland and abroad.
 
In general, the better signal in your area (indicated by more reception bars), the faster the connection speed should be.

The speed of Polish WiFi depends on many factors, such as the quality of the infrastructure, bandwidth at a given time (number of users connected at the same time), and geographical conditions etc.
Yes it is, however, our network partners impose us fair usage policies that we need to respect.

For device 4G/LTE:

If you use more than 100GB per month, we may have to reduce your speed to 1 Mb/s. Once you reach the limit, the connection speed will be reduced, but you will still be able to use your Polish WiFi and connect to the internet.

For device 4G+/LTE+:

If you use more than 200GB per month, we may have to reduce your speed to 5 Mb/s. Once you reach the limit, the connection speed will be reduced, but you will still be able to use your Polish WiFi and connect to the internet.


After the limit is reached, for an additional fee, we can increase the limit in full speed by 30GB, 100GB or 200GB depending on the device.
 
The speed of the Polish WiFi connection depends on coverage;

- when you connected to a 4G\LTE network, average internet speed for our customers: 36.6 Mb/s and upload speeds of 20.0 Mb/s

- when you connected to a 4G+\LTE+ network, average internet speed for our customers: 55.6 Mb/s and upload speeds of 25.0 Mb/s

Delivery

1. We can deliver Polish WiFi to address located in Poland. You can choose your most convenient option: hotel, office, B&B (Airbnb), apartment or a friend’s address.

2. Alternatively, you can pick up your order at our collection points called Paczkomaty Inpost. It's very simple and convenient way of receipt the shipment - available all day.

3. We can also collect Polish WiFi to the nearest
Post Office called Poczta Polska. Places of Polish Post Office are available here (website in Polish).

Parcels can be picked up from a point located in the very center of Warsaw.

2. LODZ OFFICE
You can pick up Polish WiFi in person from our office at the following address:

Our office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. Polish WiFi can also be picked up at later hours or on weekends. Please contact us in advance - we will leave the router for collection at the reception desk of the building, which is open until 10:00pm. Being in the office building - please call us. Our employee will provide Polish WiFi to their own hands and will try to answer them if you have any questions.


3. KRAKÓW CENTER
Pick up Polish WiFi in person at the pickup point located in the city center at:

The pickup point in Krakow is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

After placing the order, you will receive an SMS with the device pickup number.
You can pick up Polish WiFi in the airport post office when you arrive or in pick up point "Stacja z Paczka" near Airport.

To receive your Hotspot just mention that you are collecting a package addressed to you, show any ID/passport. Be sure to use the same name when making the order.

To ensure availability, we recommend placing your order at least 3 working days prior to travel departure date - however, you can still place orders closer - one day before your departure date.

Please remember that couriers do not deliver shipments on weekends.

Return

A few options are available to you:

1. Return by Polish Post Office
You use the self-addressed prepaid envelope we provide. You just have to find local post office name Poczta Polska, and easlly send it back to us before leaving. Post offices are generally open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Some offices are open on Saturday until 2:00pm. Just give the envelope to post office employee and take with you stamp confirmation. If not, ask the hotel receptionist if he or she can take the package and give it to the mail carrier.

2. Return in airport post offices

3. Return by pick up point Paczkoamty Inpost

Before the end of the rental period, you will receive a return code from us by SMS and mail, which must be put on the return envelope provided by us. Go to one of the 20,000 parcel lockers and enter the code on the screen. Service available 24 hours, 7 days

4. Return by courier

You will get prepaid envelope with waybill to return the package. Take the package to the nearest DPD pickup point, or we will send a courier to You or hotel address.


5. From elsewhere
You can’t use our signed envelope and you have to do it at your own expense. Please visit a local post office and ask for priority tracked parcel to Poland. This shipment method must be paid for by the customer.

The cost of returning a device from outside the European Union is the responsibility of the customer - if you return a router from outside the EU, you are responsible for the customs fees.

Remember! For any complaints regarding the late fees the customer must provide the confirmation of the return of device to Polish WiFi to ensure that the device was sent back as the customer claims.

If you need to send back a package at a different time than during Polish Post Office working hours, please select option Paczkomaty Inpost 24/7 (See here)  or write to us, we will provide you soft box, which you can drop into a red mailbox on the  Airport 24/7.
 
For other airport, please contact us by mail.
Failure to return the device (including all accessories and user guides) promptly to Polish WiFi will incur additional late charges.

In the event that we fail to receive the device, or any portion of the device, 7 business days after the specified rental end date, the customer can incur a daily penalty fee of 8.9 Є until the date the device is received. If for any reason the customer is unable to return the device to us, including but not limited to the device being lost or stolen during the rental period, the customer should contact Polish WiFi immediately via email to info@polishwifi.com, so that additional late charges are not incurred.

For any complaints regarding the late fees the customer must provide the confirmation of the return of device to Polish WiFi to ensure that the device was sent back as the customer claims.

 
You are responsible for the safe and timely return of your Polish WiFi. For this reason, we always recommend using a trackable return method.

When you filling out the form on our website, leave your e-mail and mobile phone, then choose the Percel Locker at the most convenient location. Type in search name or address of your Hotel, B&B apartament etc. and choose the nearest parcel by click select button.

WAIT FOR NOTIFICATION

As soon as the parcel arrives at your Parcel Locker, you will receive, on your mobile phone by sms and mail, notification with the code for picking it up. Save it in order to collect your percel!

When you arrive to Poland come up to the selected collection point (all parcel have English software version). Enter our mobile phone number (605627888) and the collection code (that you received by text message and e-mail) on the screen. The locker box with your parcel will open.

Don’t worry, you can choose English on the screen. 
Then click
“Send parcel” --> “Sending directly from the Parcel Machine” --> dimensions of the package (select A)
 
Enter Your e-mail and Polish WiFi phone number twice (605627888).
 
In the end You need to choose destination parcel machine --> PARCEL MACHINE CODE and then write “ANR01A”. Follow the instruction on the screen. You pay for dispatch by card (only) in the parcel locker.

Once your application is completed through the website, but you wish to cancel your service without incurring a cancellation fee, you will need to cancel 1 working days before you are scheduled to receive the device. You have two choice to cancel the order:
 
  • by form (Link to cancel will be available in e-mail confirming the order.)
  • by e-mail (Write us an e-mail info@polishwifi.com)
If your device has already been dispatched, then we will not be able to refund relevant charges.
As mentioned in our terms & conditions, your credit card will be charged a 135 Є 106 £ 140 $ 590 PLN fee for 4G+ device and 65 Є 55 £ 71 $ 290 PLN for 4G device.

We recommend renting Polish WiFi with insurance - every charge will be reduced to 50%.

Payment

The payment is done online, at the time of the order made on our booking page.

Polish WiFi accepts most of international debit and credit card issued by banks around the world, such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express. You can also make payments through PayPal system.
 
Polish WiFi will not charge a deposit for orders placed using a credit card via the official website.
 
Yes, Polish WiFi issues invoices for each order
Insurance is available as an additional option for your rental. It covers you for damage, loss (including theft) of all Equipment, by reducing the amount of the deposit to 50%
